A Lacemaker attempts to cheat the Fates by spinning her own thread of life. The Lacemaker won the Gold Mikeldi at Bilbao International Festival of Documentary and Short Film, and screened at the BFI London Film Festival as well as other leading film festivals. The film was sponsored by the BBC; won a Research Travel Award and was selected for exhibition at The Royal Academy of Art in London.
